Fantastic February for Festivale......fabulous!

February is a fantastic month in Tassie!
Festivale was another delight of music, good Tasmanian food and great Tasmanian Wines.
Friday nights entertainment was Diesel and I was standing within 2 metres of the man!
The weather is beautiful with sunny blue sky days..... and cool nights.....
Perfect for BBQ's with friends.....

Focusing on the shop now.....

This is a lovely Baltic Dresser c1860's....
Doesn't the Blue & White look lovely on display?

This Badge or Brooch is 10cm wide and either silver or silver plated.
It has KOSCIUSKO near the tip of the ski and Angus & Cootes,
Sydney marked on the back.
Possibly from the Kosiusko Chalet in the 1930's......

A lovely Bentwood Chair....

This pair of plaster Kookaburra's are one of my favourite
 pieces at the moment.....
So typically Australian....

These Coca Cola Bags are from the 50's and are in fantastic condition.

Nothing compares to Blue & White on a dresser......
Looks like it could have come from my house!
I have a Blue & White fetish and mix and match
odd dinner plates and they always look great.

This Milking Stool has some age to it.....
would look great in a country kitchen or rustic barn.

I love the look of timber in any type of house and this
Kitchen Dresser would be good in a Kitchen or even useful in the Laundry.

Vintage plaster Elephants with their Mahouts on the back......

This old trunk has seen some countries......
and has the stickers to prove it!
Would be lovely as a coffee table or just a useful decoration.....
fill it with blankets....

The English Oak Hallstand full of goodies....

This Chair was purchased from an antique shop
 then lovingly restored......
has the date and name of the purchaser and the restorer underneath.

This Miking stool is very cute.... nice patina.
Although once you sit on it ..... it would be hard to get up again.....
 it is very low!

Canister corner...... in our kitchen room.

Another view in the kitchen.....

I saw these letters in Cotton On in Hobart but waited
until they opened here in Launceston.
Had to have them!

Kinda says it all really....

Fred's taking a break from minding the door.....
I need to find another Fred..... ours is looking a bit tatty!
